Symptoms and conditions are your body’s way of telling you that something is going on, something is wrong, something is out of balance inside your body. Dry skin is no exception.
Now there are lots of great products to help nurture and heal your skin from the outside in, and I use those types of products every day. But while you are taking care of the outside, make sure you are nourishing and restoring your body on the inside, so that the problem will eventually correct itself.
As you know, I am a big proponent of the 90 essential nutrients. The results I, and others, are experiencing since taking them are phenomenal. And 3 of those nutrients, (Omega 3, 6, and 9) the essential fatty acids, will help your dry skin (whether it is chronic, occasional, or seasonal).
The more severe your problem, the sooner you will see results. However, the general rule of thumb is to continue a health regimen for at least 90 days, before you evaluate whether it works for you or not. You didn’t create the problem overnight, so give your body more than a day or two, or a week or two to correct it.
Besides, your body will first use those essential fatty acids to heal the most important parts of your body (like your brain) before it starts to heal your skin. When given the right nutrients the body can and will heal itself, and it will do so in a manner where your life support systems are restored first.
In my next blog post, I will tell you how to select the correct EFA blend for you.
Wishing You Prosperity & Perfect Health,
